Mrs. McCoy's Monkeys Visit the Zoo!

Cole's first grade class visited the Warner Park Zoo on Friday. They had a great time! I think this is the first time Cole can remember going to the zoo. (We went as a family to Knoxville when he was still small enough to ride in a stroller~ long time ago, huh?)

I think Cole enjoys just being in a relaxed environment. No rules about sitting in a certain area or being quiet for a period of time. God love him, he's just a bundle of energy! Poor Mrs. McCoy!

This location was chosen because they have ended a unit of study on animals and read a story about a zookeeper. Field trips are just a fun part of school.
