Taking an Arizona 'Pause"
Every year, Jeff's Broker/Dealer has an annual conference. Three years ago, Hawaii... 2 years ago, Las Vegas... last year we missed because I was fighting for my life in the hospital... this year, Tucson, AZ! Aren't business perks great!

The only thing Cole wanted from this trip is a picture of a cactus "with its hands up." Oh! and his dad beside it so he could see how big it was. Well, Cole, here you go..

The Westin La Paloma Resort is nestled at the base of the Catalina Foothills. We can see desert for miles, then these jagged mountains just pop-up. Very unique terrain.
The resort has 9 haciendas spread out all around the golf course and grounds. To get to your room you must follow these winding paths. They are shaded with black barked mesquite trees and lined with a varieties of cacti. Watch your step!!!

Sorry, but when we first arrived into Tucson, I was not very impressed. In the downtown area, there is MUCH interstate construction, stirring up a cloud of dust... YUCK! But once we got out of the city and the sun began to set, I could see the beauty of the desert coming to life. Sunrise and sunset are definitely a sight to take in!

We spent all day Tuesday helping Lynn facilitate his coaching program. It was informative and nice to put faces with all the people Jeff talks about so often. For dinner, we went to the oldest steakhouse in Tucson, El Corral. The food was good, but the company was better. Jeff and Lynn had fun goofing around.
Well, that's it for now. I'll post more later!
Adios!
