Hippity, Hoppity Easter's on it's way!

We enjoyed a great weekend with mom & dad in Louisiana. The "little" boys helped Nana make a cake for the egg hunt, and Aunt Ang dyed eggs with them and they LOVED it! We had silly face eggs, CARS the movie eggs and tye-dyed, too. Eggs, eggs, everywhere!

Angela read a story to the children of Point Chapel and shared Resurrection eggs with them. It was a great way to put the "egg" part of Easter back to where the focus should be...Jesus. Good job, Ang! the kids were such good listeners. What a great group of young people.

It's egg huntin' time...

The children from the church had a blast at the egg hunt. I loved watching the toddlers find their eggs, and the older kids almost trampled each other to get to their Easter treasures! Shannon and Eric Chavis' boys were GREAT at finding the prize eggs! I believe their oldest found the grand prize egg which was a new bible.

Here are the winners of the prize eggs...

Noah won first prize in the baby division.

The cake was yummy, the punch was sweet and the fellowship worth savoring. Thanks, Point Chapel for loving my parents and including us in your Easter celebration!
