This is SNOW much fun!
Can you believe it? Today is March 8, and it's our first real snowfall of the winter!
It was so pretty! I took about 50 pictures. I know you are soooo surprised, NOT! We went up to Chilhowee camping area and ran into people for church, they were sledding and having snowball fights. Cole tried to make a snow angel, but he was a bit rough and he rubbed the snow down to mud! YUCK! He and Guy got into a snowball fight and all was great until they started hitting each other in the face.
We awoke around 7:30 and the deck was just dusted. Within a few minutes, it started really coming down. It snowed for about 4 hours, but really didn't accumulate much, so Jeff got the idea to head out to the Oocee. It always seems to be colder up there and ALWAYS get snow!!!

We tried.
I'm so glad it snowed on the weekend because Jeff was able to enjoy it with us. We get snow days, but Daddies don't. Work must go on, you know? Thank God for the weekend!
We drove on up to Boyd's Gap. You can see the whole Ocoee valley from up there. Isn't it beautiful? It appears that MANY people had the same idea we did, so it was hard to find a place where we could sled and just play in the snow. Jeff finally pulled of the main road and found a hill good for sledding. The boys had a blast. They've never sledded before. Sad, huh? I can remember going to the Bates house every time it snowed and sledding down the road to Lake Ouachita. What memories!
