Frosty the Snowman
This is our third "snow day" this year. But one was for excessive rain and one for icy roads. Today, it ACTUALLY SNOWED!!!! It started around 10:00 with these HUGE flakes about the size of a half-dollar. It kept coming down until 3:00 or so. I'm not a meteorologist, but I'm guessing we had about 1 1/2 inches at my house. Which for our snow history lately, that's a good snowfall! Jeff said it did NOTHING in Chattanooga. Weird, huh? They called of school around lunch (which is complete chaos trying to get 400+ students home at an unscheduled time- aauuugghhh!) But, I made it. This week is my turn to have bus duty. Which means... I had the lovely joy of waiting on all the buses to come get the kids and deliver them home before I could go home. I made it home about 1:30 and it was a beautiful snowfall.
Guy tried to make a snow angel. (Sorry the picture's so blurry. It kept focusing on the the snowflakes, not Guy.)

Cole was beside himself with sheer excitement! But then again, it doesn't take much to get that boy excited about anything.
After about 30 minutes, they were soaked and FREEZING! They ran in the house stripped off all the wet clothes and huddled in front of the fireplace. (I thought I'd spare you a picture of that. ;-) Isn't life exciting in a house full of boys!!!
They're calling for more snow tomorrow. I figured up the other day, due to sickness and weather, I've not worked a full week since Dec. 19. (Don't tell anyone, but I've been doing a snow dance in the backyard! LOL)
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
