Well, the holidays are offically here! We had a great time with cousins, sisters, and brother-in-laws. And can you believe it... The Bolt girls were able to actually pull-off a Thanksgiving meal on their own! Shocker, huh? But it was sad to not have Mom & Dad here, too.

As I get older the holidays seem different. After we ate on Thanksgiving, I was exhausted! I bet it had NOTHING to do with the fact I am 8 weeks post-op from a major surgery, does it? But, I crashed on my bed for a while and the thought went through my head... why did I spend so much time cooking!!! Then the next thought was... because to my boys this is a Family Thanksgiving. I realize to adults the holidays are tiresome and seem to "not be worth all the work". However, to a five and nine year old, holidays are about the memories of Mom's pumpkin roll, dressing and other goodies, as well as, FAMILY!
Sorry, Nana, I was too busy cooking and playing hostess, that I forgot to take more pictures! Imagine, that! HA!

This rocker was given to Guy on his first birthday. Each time that Richie comes to visit, he loves this rocker, so we decided to pass it on. Besides, I don't think Guy's "hinny" will fit in it anymore!
